We guarantee to arrive within one hour to any location in Hungary. If we fail to do so through our own fault, we will refund you 50% of the annual premium of your assistance package.

Europ Assistance organizes roadside assistance services. Provided that there are no legal limitations – such as limited warranty or service exclusivity on a geographical basis –, the auto-technician will attempt to fix the problem on the spot.

If it is not possible to repair the vehicle on the spot, the breakdown lorry will take it, along with any  personal luggage contained therein, to the nearest repair shop at a distance of no more than 50 km, where the vehicle can be repaired in a secure and definitive way.

If the nearest repair shop is closed – on weekends or at night – or too busy, Europ Assistance will take the vehicle to a safe parking area, and in the morning of the next working day to the repair shop.

Once the vehicle has been taken to the repair shop, Europ Assistance will act as a link between you and the service.

With our new Fuel Dispatch service, we provide you with 10 L of fuel free of charge to restart your car.

If the breakdown service is unable to repair your vehicle on the spot, we will hire a car for you for the duration of repairs carried out in the repair shop, and we will pay the hire charges.

Instead of getting a replacement car, passengers may also choose to travel further to the planned destination or to their homes free of charge.

Instead of getting a replacement car or travelling further, passengers of the car may also choose free accommodation for a maximum of two nights  in a nearby hotel for the time of vehicle repairs (with the reimbursement of accommodation costs related to the room less the value of any potential extra services used).

We take the insured or his/her authorized representative free of charge to the foreign repair shop to pick up the  repaired car.

By using our new traffic jam monitoring service, you can request information over the phone on current traffic conditions, which makes it easier for you to drive anywhere in Europe.

Our service provides cover for passengers travelling in the car, in case of traffic accidents abroad. The insurance includes reimbursement of medical and rescue costs, and comes with luggage insurance. Furthermore, it also covers extra costs incurred in connection with hospital visits and changing the date of the return journey.

This policy has been underwritten by Europ Assistance. Our aim to provide a secure parking service within a local area. Fees are applied and must be paid by policy holder.
